Θεοδωροπούλου, Ντόρα

Dora Theodoropoulou was born in Athens. She is an Architect, a graduate of the School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She continued to postgraduate studies and was awarded an MSc in Design-Space-Culture from the School ofArchitecture of the National Technical University of Athens (Mestovio). 2017 saw her attain a PhD in Architectural Theory and History from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. 2018 witnessed the publication of her book ΦΙΞ FIX 120+ ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΡΧΙΤΕΚΤΟΝΙΚΗ, Τάκης Χ. Ζενέτος, Μαργαρίτης Χ. Αποστολίδης Σημείο τομής στην Ιστορία του Κτιρίου (ΦΙΞ FIX 120+YEARS OF ARCHITECTURE, Takis Zenetos, Margaritis Apostolidis, A Turning Point in the History of the Building), by Epikentro Publishers. She has collaborated with architectural officers in Athens and Rome on the implementation of public and private works and has been awarded distinctions in architectural competitions. As an assistant lecturer, she has taught Architectural Composition, History and Theory at the School of Architecture, National Technical University of Athens, and participated in architectural conferences and publications. Her interest is centered as much on applied architecture as on the academic world. As curator and communications director, she has helped organize major visual arts and architectural exhibitions in collaboration with the visual artist Elina Theodoropoulou. She also holds a diploma in Psychology, the Biosynthesis approach.
